Story

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, they’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.

We are raising funds in memory of Steve Fellows; Dearly loved Husband to Vicki and Dad to Jack, Johnny, Billy, Esmae, Millie, Freddie, Phoebe and the late Ava.

Steve was a local volunteer Firefighter from Audlem Fire Station who sadly lost his life to a brain tumour at just 42 years old.

Steve passed away in the Autumn of 2023 and until Steve's diagnosis he had managed to combine working as an on-call firefighter with a busy family life and a thriving joinery business.

His Colleagues said; "He was an excellent firefighter, a much-loved colleague and passionate about supporting his local community.”

The loss of Steve has left a dramatic void in the lives of his beloved family and many members of the community, as he was well known and respected in the local area.

We hope you will join us in helping to fundraise for this charity, so that others don’t have to go through the pain that his family have experienced.

Lorna will be walking 142 miles across the month of April in memory of Steve, as he was only 42 years old when he passed away. Lorna hopes that clocking up the miles will help to raise awareness of The Brain Tumour Charity and the excellent work that they do.

The Brain Tumour Charity is set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change.
